Yummy! These are the best restaurants in Budapest
By the end of the year, several records could be broken by Hungarian tourism. The Hungarian capital proved in the last few months that it is not only popular amongst tourists but Hungarian residents as well. It is not only famous for its historical sights and entertainment but its gastronomy, offering many excellent restaurants to dine in.

Pénzcentrum reported that gastronomical life is the most colourful in Budapest among European cities. New trends keep on conquering the city; for example, the extremely popular street food and fine dining. Internationally, Budapest is growing its reputation as in recent months, several restaurants received a Michelin star and became more popular among foreign tourists and Hungarians.
Guests keep looking for restaurants with high quality where the food is made preferably with local ingredients. Ten years ago, many ingredients had to be imported from abroad, but luckily, this has changed.
Among the top ten best restaurants in Budapest, Stand, Onyx, and Costes are featured. The first one received its Michelin star eight months ago. In the category of gourmet, Borkonyha Restaurant is listed while in fine dining, Costes Downtown is considered to be the best, but St. Andrea Wine & Gourmet Bar is also among the most preferred restaurants.
Amongst street food restaurants, Bors, Töltő, Hokedli, Funky Pho, Soul Food, and Kyros Gyros are the best.
Kandalló Kézműves Pub, Bamba Marha Burger, and Vaslap also managed to be in the top ten in the category of the best burger restaurants.
